FOREST SCHOOL SESSIONS

Sessions:

  • *New for 2025* Mondays from 9:00am to 3:00pm - aimed at 8 years and upwards - unaccompanied.

  • Wednesday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am - aimed at 4 - 8 years with parents attending.

  • Thursdays from 9:30am to 2:30pm - aimed at 8 years and upwards - unaccompanied.

  • Friday mornings from 9:30 to 12:00 - aimed 5 years and over, with parents attending

  • Alternate Saturdays from 10am to 12pm - Currently a closed group

Our Forest School sessions follow the forest school principles which include learner led activities, over a long term, outdoors (whatever the weather) and overseen and facilitated by a qualified Forest School practitioner

What to expect:

Activities will include:

Making dens, tying knots and using ropes and tarpaulins; climbing trees, playing games, using hand tools (including whittling, chopping and cutting), investigating things around the farm, building fires and cooking over an open fire; planting trees, hedges and flowers and, hopefully, learning how to love and appreciate nature.

And most importantly of all, having fun!!

Cost:

  • 2 hour sessions £ 13.50 per child *

  • 2 1/2 hour sessions £ 17.00 per child

  • 3 hour session £ 20.00 per child

  • 5 hour session £ 33.50 per child

  • 6 hour session £ 40.00 per child

    All sessions are subject to availability

    Sessions Include water, hot and cold drinks, healthy snacks and sweet treats. All materials and activities are also included.

    Unfortunately, we are unable to take childcare vouchers on Forest School sessions.
