BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Please note:
Most families choose to bring their own sausages and rolls or bread etc and we are happy to provide the pots and pans for you to get them sizzling over the camp fire for the hungry adventurers.
Alternatively, we can supply a simple menu of baguettes and sausages cooked over the fire (plus a vegetarian option) for an extra charge (see Optional Extras below). We can also arrange woodland inspired cakes.

We love a party!!
Our Forest School parties are hosted by a qualified Forest School Practitioner and additional staff depending on the number of guests and follow the Forest School principles with activities being child led.
We can give every woodland birthday party a personal touch linked to the likes of the birthday child and their friends from games to whittling or knots and den building
What to expect:
Lots of free play; using ropes, knots and tarpaulins to make dens; climbing trees, lazing in hammocks and on swings; playing in the tree house and the mud kitchen or walking the plant on the pirate ship. All sorts of crafts and games; building fires and toasting marshmallows or crumpets over an open fire……
And most importantly of all, having fun whatever the weather!!
Cost:
£ 225 for up to 12 children for 2 hours
£ 275 for up to 12 children for 2 1/2 hours
(additional children up to a maximum of 20 £ 12.50 per child)
Price includes:
Use of the Forest School site throughout the session
Designated area set up for the “Birthday Tea"
Birthday decorations
2 planned activities
Crumpets, popcorn or marshmallows to toast over the fire
Hot chocolate and/or soft drink
A tree to plant on the farm in recognition of the birthday celebrations
S’mores goody bag to take home for all of the children attending
Optional extras:
Bacon sarnies
Bacon cooked in a pan over the camp fire with a roll, baguette or crusty bread and ketchup or brown sauce

Roast bananas
Bananas stuffed with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips, wrapped in foil and roasted in the embers

Hot dogs
Tasty sausages or chipolatas over the camp fire with a bread roll, baguette or some crusty bread and ketchup or brown sauce

Baked apples
Apples cored and stuffed with raisins, a little cinamon and sugar then wrapped in foil and roasted in the embers
£ 1.50 each
Damper bread
This is a simple bread recipe which the children can wrap around a stick and cook on the fire.
Damper bread can be served plain, flavoured with salt, cheese, chocolate or even nettle damper bread!
We can also provide crumpets or tea cakes to toast

Party bags
Which will include the following:
A small note book
A twig pencil
Some sunflower or wild flower seeds
A biodegradable pot with some compost
A planting label
A wood cookie or wooden disc
