Park Farm Chrishall is a family run smallholding of around 30 acres, in North West Essex, originally established in the mid nineteen eighties by John & Sylvia Cranwell.

Set in Church Road Chrishall in the beautiful and historic village of Chrishall, we are surrounded by bridleways, footpaths and woodland and we are exceptionally fortunate and proud to be custodians of our little piece of England.

After joining Chrishall Primary School as a TA in 2021 I was introduced to Forest School, joining the fabulous Mrs B in the woods on a Thursday and became totally hooked.

I started my training in 2022 with Cambridge Forest Schools and joined the Forest School Association. In January of this year, I successfully completed all the practical elements and have now completed my coursework to become a Level 3 Forest School Practitioner.

I set up Park Farm Forest School with a view to offering not only a holiday club for children but to introduce the Forest School ethos to all ages from toddlers (our “Seedlings” group) to seniors (our “Wise Oaks” group) and will be looking to build on this over time.
